By law, schools in the United States must comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) before using the Studyo Go app. This law requires written parental consent for children under the age of 13 before they can use online services that store any sort of personal information.

At the moment, Studyo Go does not implement everything required in order to comply with COPPA, so our Terms of Service explicitly mention that users must be older than 13.

This does not mean that we do not protect users' data or use it at will. Our usage of your data is covered by our Privacy Policy, and a detailed explanation of why we need every bit of data and what we do with it can be found here.

We are working on implementing all the requirements within the app to comply with COPPA, and our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly once everything is in place.
